Meet the founder of Flourished Nutrition and Clinical Nutritionist Jemma. Jemma's passion for nutrition began following twenty years of ballet, where compulsory nutrition classes assisted dancers build positive relationships with food and fostered healthy lifestyle habits. Her affection for nutrition was furthered during her work as a beauty therapist for a naturopath who owned a skin care line and was passionate about the interrelationship with food and skin and believed in treating from the inside out.​

 

Having had three children (and three pregnancies), Jemma really observed first hand the complex nature of nutrients and their key roles in the human body. Two of her three children have peanut allergies, because of this, her knowledge in allergies is extensive.

Jemma's clinical nutrition experience has equiped her with the experience necessary to treat diverse range of hard-to-treat conditions; from allergies and food intolerances, eczema and skin conditions, chronic diseases, autoimmune diseases and weight management.

 Jemma also understand the importance of nutrition in reproductive health before, during and after pregnancies and therefore loves seeing women with reproductive concerns such as breastfeeding, endometriosis, PCOS, infertility, nutritional deficiencies and menstrual irregularities.
